Pitching is intimidating! Especially when you’re pitching your podcast to a high profile guest or sponsor. However, if you master these three mindsets, I guarantee you will get more ‘Yeses’ than ‘Nos.’

3 mindsets you need to pitch to anyone:

1️.  Every time there's an opportunity you're interested in, pitch yourself!

How many times have you passed on an opportunity because you don’t meet all the requirements or think you’re unqualified? If you’re even slightly interested, PITCH. You never know what can happen, so do it.

2. Don't have any expectations

You NEVER know what can happen so enter into the pitching process with little to no expectations. Laura Cathcart Robbins shared a quote with us on this week’s replay episode, stating…

Just throw every ball against the wall and see what comes back. Then you can prepare.

You only live once, so go for it—YOLO!

3. It's okay to keep pitching

It can take multiple pitches before you get a ‘yes.’ Laura shared with us that she has had to follow-up with people more than once before getting a solid offer. Laura shares how she does it on this week’s Podcast Coaching with Christine episode.

Where is your pitching mindset at? Is there one we should add? Let the podcast community know.

P.S. Thank you Laura for sharing these tips. If you want to learn more from Laura, check out The Only One In The Room Podcast. If you want to learn how to find (and invite!) podcast guests, check out this post.
