Podcasts listenership has increased 55% compared to last year, which also means the amount of new podcasts is growing as well.

If you just started a podcast, or are planning on it in the future, let’s discuss three ways to market your podcast that don’t include social media:

1. Speak on other podcasts

Think about the audience of a show that you want to speak on; does the show have a similar audience to yours? Is it an audience that might be interested in your podcast?

2. Go to podcast conferences

Podcast Movement and Podfest are just a few examples of conferences you can attend. These events hold many opportunities for you to connect with other podcasters. A lot of the interviews on Podcast Coaching with Christine happened from the connections I made at podcast conferences and events.

3. Be featured on podcast platforms

Platforms like Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, and Spotify have great resources to market your show. They have prime real estate on their apps to showcase podcasts. Arielle from Earbuds Podcast Collective gave my listeners valuable insight on how to be featured by your favorite podcasting platforms and apps.

Now, on top of those three, here’s a BONUS fourth marketing tip courtesy of Erica Mandy from The NewsWorthy:

Market your show to people that already listen to podcasts.
